The Community at CaroNet

| I agree to the guidelines outlined below |

Welcome to the Community at CaroNet. Here you'll find a diverse group of smart, talented and creative women talking about anything and everything that crosses a woman's path from lemon meringue to kids to career discrimination to backyard mulch.

Because we want people to get to know each other and feel comfortable here, this is a small board that is essentially private. However, we welcome new members. There are only a few guidelines for participating in the community:

1. Be kind to one another. CaroNet is a community of individuals who are here to talk, share, discuss, learn and support each other. Remember the golden rule when posting and take care to think of other people's feelings. Anyone who is rude or insulting to another member may have her membership terminated.

2. Don't give access to anyone else. Access to the CaroNet forums is for you and you alone. Giving someone else access through your password will result in membership termination.

3. Photos and posts remain the copyright of the author/poster. Consider each post as a published, copyrighted article for which you need permission to copy or redistribute. Each member may, at her discretion, edit or delete her own posts.

4. Be an active participant. Because this is a small board, we ask that members contribute regularly to the discussions. We'd like people to post at least 15 times per month and start at least 1 thread/topic per month.

5. Keep commercial interests out of the community. Any member found to be harvesting e-mail addresses for mass marketing purposes will have her membership terminated.

6. Real world gatherings happen upon occasion. We encourage you to pick a time/date, announce it to the Community and enjoy each other's company face-to-face. But if you do not plan to invite everyone, please be sensitive to others' feelings and keep references to it out of the Community.
